MinerOp Business Phone
Your business number, not your cell.
Right now the business line is probably your personal phone, and it rings while you’re under a car, on the floor or with a client. Give the business its own number. It rings the people who should pick up, screens out spam, and puts every call and text on the customer’s record next to their jobs and invoices.

- Counter computer, then your cell
The business line is in your pocket.
Most small businesses start with the owner’s cell as the business number. It works until the business gets busy.
- It rings while you are with a customer.
The business number is your cell, so every call finds you mid-job: under a car, on the floor or with a client. You let it go, and the customer calls the next place on the list.
- Your customers have your personal number.
Texts at 10 at night, calls on Sunday, and a phone that is never really off. The business never closes because the line is in your pocket.
- The conversation lives on one person’s phone.
What was quoted, what was promised, when they called back. None of it is on the customer’s record, and none of it stays if that person leaves.
A business line, built into your CRM.
A CRM is where your customer list, jobs and invoices live. Your phone line belongs there too, so every call already knows who is on the other end.
A real business number
A local number that belongs to the business and lives in MinerOp, not on anyone’s personal cell. The whole team shares it, and it stays when someone leaves.
Every phone planIt rings where your people are
Answer on the counter computer, on your phone, or ring through to your cell. Ring MinerOp first and then cells, everyone at once, or cells only. A missed call shows up for your team in MinerOp, and voicemail comes to your email.
Every phone planEvery call and text on the customer
Calls and texts land on the same customer record as their jobs and invoices. Text customers from the business number, so the thread is with the business, not with you.
Every phone planSpam calls screened out
Robocalls and spam are screened before they reach you, so when the phone rings mid-job, it is more likely to be a customer.
Every phone planRecordings, and a press 1 menu
Record calls to settle what was quoted. Add a call menu (press 1 for service, press 2 for parts) and send calls somewhere else after hours. The menu is off until you turn it on.
Phone Plus and Phone ProYour playbook on screen during the call
Put your services, prices and answers in once. Whoever picks up sees them on screen while they talk, so a new hire at the counter sounds like they have been there for years.
Professional plan and upFor people who can’t always pick up.
The bay and the counter
Tint, wraps, PPF, detailing, repair. The call rings the counter first and your cell after, and the quote you gave is on the customer’s record, not in your memory.
The line during the rush
Catering questions and big orders come in on the restaurant’s own number, and the person who calls back can see who called.
Between appointments
You can’t pick up mid-session. The missed call is waiting for your front desk in MinerOp, and you text the client back from the studio number.

MinerOp Phone can’t call 911 or other emergency numbers. Keep a mobile phone or landline for emergencies.
Live in three steps.
Calls can start the day your number is ready. Texting follows once the carriers approve your business.
- Pick a phone plan
Add Phone, Phone Plus or Phone Pro to your MinerOp plan. Phone you can start yourself. For Phone Plus and Phone Pro, our team sets it up with you.
- Get a local number, or keep yours
Choose a new local number and it can take calls within minutes. Or bring the number your customers already know. Moving it from your current carrier usually takes a few business days.
- Register for texting
Before a business number can text, the phone carriers have to approve your business. We start that during setup. Calls work in the meantime.

What owners ask about the phone.
- Can I call 911 from my MinerOp business number?
- No. MinerOp Phone can’t call 911 or any other emergency number, and it doesn’t send your location to emergency services. Keep a mobile phone or a landline for emergencies, and make sure everyone on your team knows. The terms of service have the details.
- Does it work on my phone?
- Yes. You can answer in MinerOp on a computer or on your phone, or have calls ring through to your cell. You choose how calls ring: MinerOp first and then cells after a few seconds, everyone at once, or cells only.
- Can I keep my current number?
- Yes. You can bring the number your customers already know, and moving it from your current carrier usually takes a few business days. Or start with a new local number, which can take calls within minutes. Talk to us and we will tell you which makes sense for your shop.
- Why can’t I text customers on day one?
- The phone carriers require every business that texts to register first. We start that registration during your setup. It usually takes a few days for a toll-free number and up to a few weeks for a local number. Calls work while you wait.
- What happens when I miss a call?
- The missed call shows up for your team in MinerOp, and voicemail is sent to your email, so someone can call or text the customer back from the business number. MinerOp does not text the caller back on its own.
- Are calls and texts really unlimited?
- Calls and texts with your customers are unlimited on every phone plan. The monthly allowance is only for campaign and automatic texts. Over the allowance, they are 2¢ each on Phone, 1.8¢ on Phone Plus and 1.5¢ on Phone Pro.
- Do I need a MinerOp plan to get a business phone?
- Yes. The phone plans add on to any MinerOp plan, from Starter up. Enterprise includes Phone Pro. Each number also has a one-time setup fee that covers the number and its texting registration, and the pricing page lists it.
- Can someone answer the phone for me?
- That is AVA Front Desk, a separate service in a free beta. US-based MinerOp team members answer your calls in covered hours, using your playbook. It runs on top of MinerOp Phone.
